Established in 2012, Green Destinations was created to deliver specialist local government services that support independence, protect health and wellbeing, and provide value for money for the public sector.

Green Destinations was established to deliver specialist local government services that help people become more independent while protecting health and wellbeing through value for money service delivery.
Our mission is to increase employment and training opportunities amongst hard-to-reach communities. We are proud to embrace a fully integrated local supply chain that positively contributes to the Local Multiplier Effect.
We employ local people, who in turn utilise a local supply chain to deliver local publicly-funded services. This approach strengthens communities, creates opportunities, and keeps value circulating within the local economy.
Our leadership and experience
Our Board of Management brings significant executive-level experience from both local government and the Third Sector.
Across the wider organisation, our team has more than 100 years of combined experience delivering publicly-funded services.
Our transport services
Our transport segment exists to help local authorities fulfil their statutory duties under Section 508B of the Education Act 1996.
We support arrangements for children who have special educational needs, disabilities, mobility difficulties, or live beyond statutory walking distances.

We undertake safeguarding checks on those whose work or involvement brings them into contact with children and vulnerable adults.
Vetted Teams
All relevant team members are Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checked, ensuring children are supported by trusted personnel.

Supporting local authorities to manage public money responsibly while promoting sustainable travel wherever possible.
Training and certification
Our training approach is designed to prepare team members to work safely, respectfully, and effectively with children and young people who may have a wide range of needs.
